Sweet, coy and demure are a thing of the past. Girls like to show their mean streak these days, for playing a bad girl is the new fad in Bollywood.
Here's a look at some of the bad girls we'll get to see in upcoming Bollywood flicks.
1. Amisha Patel - Shortcut RomeoA little birdie tells us, the sugary sweet Amisha is all set to play a wicked woman in Susi Ganesh's Shortcut Romeo. The movie has Neil Nitin Mukesh and Puja Gupta in the lead, and Ms. Patel will be the vamp of this romantic thriller.
After Humraaz, we'd certainly like to see Amisha showing her wild side yet again.
2. Shaurya Chauhan - Krrish 2Swimsuit calendar girl Shaurya Chauhan has finally lapped up the role of female antagonist in Rakesh Roshan's Krrish 2. She will be romancing Vivek Oberoi, who is the uber-powerful villain in this Hrithik-Priyanka starrer flick.
The hottie will be, apparently, seen kicking a lots of a$ and she's even been enrolled for 3-month gymnastic training to get it right on screen.
3. Madhu Shalini - DepartmentRam Gopal Verma has a penchant for casting the hottest gals in the meanest way. After Antara Mali, Urmila Matondkar and Jiah Khan, RGV has now discovered model-turned-actor of Tamil industry Madhu Shalini.
Madhu will, reportedly, be playing the role of a dangerous female gangster in Department, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Sanjay Dutt and Lakshmi Manchu.
4. Kangana Ranaut - Krrish 2While Priyanka Chopra will be playing the love interest of Hrithik Roshan in Krrish 2, we hear Kangana will play the supergirl of Krrish and her character will have grey shades.
Kangs is learning Martial Arts and kickboxing for her role and buzz is, that her look in the film is based on Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft - with tight pants and tube tops.
5. Bipasha Basu - Raaz 3The seductress that she is, Bips will be playing a double role in Vikram Bhatt's Raaz (3D). She'll play Shanaya and also Princess Malini vampire.
The characters haven't been revealed yet, but from the look of it, this one is certainly going to surprise us. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta in the lead.
6. Paoli Dam - Hate StoryAnother Vikram Bhatt thriller called Hate Story, which has the sensuous Bengali actress Paoli Dam as the protagonist, has its poster out.
As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words, this one is telling us that the woman is out to kill and is certainly not the under-dog !
7. Sunny Leone - Jism 2Bipasha Basu's character in Jism was of a woman who uses her jism (body) to get what she wants, it was all about sex and crime and presented the dark side of desire.
From all that we hear, Jism 2 will be based on similar lines and Sunny Leone's character will be very dark and enigmatic, besides being extremely sensuous.
